Day 36 : Foncebadon to Molinaseca

Cruz de ferro is on a massive mount of thousands upon thousands of stones of all sizes and shapes. It is built on rubble essentially. Each stone is a physical representation of a pilgrims’ prayer, hopes, wishes, dreams, and devotions. Many stones have written words on them, some people leave ribbons or small pictures behind. I felt overwhelmed by all the intentions and prayers left by pilgrims over the years. I was paralyzed and touched by all the energy left behind.

I hoped that all these pilgrims got whatever they asked for.

I have a pebble that I have carried since the beginning of my journey but I didn’t want leave it just yet because I am still figuring out what I want from this walk.
