What a day of extreme highs and lows.
My day started with me feeling confident, ready, excited and rested embarking on my walk. Then it ended with me terrified and lost in the middle of a forest off trail somewhere in Galicia. I did make it to my destination of Samos, but not after walking hours in the completely wrong direction. I left Fonfria at 6:41 AM and arrived in Samos at 6:15 PM. A walk that was suppose to be 19 km turned into a 30 km walk. The last two hours of my walk was brutal emotionally and psychologically.
